What is the plan for COVID?
All events will be held outdoors. We ask that all guests attest that they are fully vaccinated. We will continue to monitor recommendations from health officials and will make changes as necessary.
What should I wear?
Summer cocktail attire is requested – feel free to have fun with it! The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors on San Diego Bay. The ground at the Bali Hai is paved, so feel free to wear your snazziest dancing shoes. Depending on the weather forecast, consider bringing a layer for when the sun goes down, as it can get chilly by the water.
What is the weather like?
In early July, the average high temperature is in the mid-70s, and the average low temperature is in the mid-60s. During the day, it tends to be warm in the sun, and then quickly cools off at night with a strong ocean breeze.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
The ceremony will start at 4pm, and we invite guests to arrive as early as 3:30pm.
Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?
With multiple hotels within a short walk of the venue, and easy access to ride share, we have chosen to allow our guests to manage their own transportation. There is ample free parking right in front of the Bali Hai, but don’t have one of their famous Mai Tais and drive!
